"..fabrics are luxurious in the hands of Michelle Julene, a free-spirited designer based in Jackson Hole. Michelle creates sexy, laced and beaded jeans, fringed and fur-trimmed jackets and lacy tops that call to mind Italian trendsetter's Robert Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana.
Many of her design are custom-sewn for women who she says are "very well-dressed and know couture. I'll take things from my runway show and work with clients on the style and color."
The Western Couture Fashion Show
The kickoff to the twelfth annual Western Design Conference was a runway fashion show of original western couture designs by fourteen of America’s top western fashion designers. Among the collections featured was those of Ann Beard, Michelle Julene and Alan Michael, world-renowned professionals whose designs are in the permanent collections of museums as well as in the closets of celebrities, including Britney Spears, Robert DeNiro, Elizabeth Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, Mick Jagger, Paula Zahn, Julia Roberts and Jessica Simpson. The show illustrated a century of western design influences converging as a result of function, popular culture, idealism and style. These collections bring together the traditions of western lifestyle, the glamour of movie and rock stars, and the style of tomorrow.
